HEC Student Art Contest: Entry Rules 2007

Contest Begins: July 1, 2007

Contest Ends: September 30, 2007 (postmarked by)

Theme: “Places to go and things to see.”

1. Must be a home schooled student (anywhere in the world) and 18 years old or younger.
2. All entries must be on a flat medium no larger than 8.5" X 11". 
   DRAWINGS LOOK BETTER ON THE COMPUTER IF THEY HAVE STRONG COLORS AND HEAVY LINES.
3. The back of the picture must include:
   • Contestant's First and Last Name
   • Parent/Guardian First and Last Name
   • Home Address
   • Home Phone Number (Include International Country Code &/ or Area Code)
   • E-Mail Address
   • Age
   • Grade
4. Please include a title for your art, an explanation of what your picture is, and what it means to you (100 words or less).
5. All entries must be accompanied by a completed Entry Form with a parent or guardian signature indicating approval.  Click here to download Entry Form.
6. Include $2.00 check or money order per submission.
7. One (1) art submission per student, per current contest
8. Prizes: There will be a (1) First Place, (1) Second Place and (1) Third Place winner. Judged by proffesional  artists for creativity and design.

9. All entries become the property of HEC and may be used by HEC in any and all media now known or hereafter developed for non-commercial and commercial purposes alike. Pictures will not be returned unless, a self addressed stamped envelope is included with entry. Winners (1st, 2nd, & 3rd Places) will be posted on the HEC website.
