We believe that there is a need within the home school community to have the opportunity to both Buy and Sell useful Used Curriculum. It is our hope that this site will fulfill that need and be a valuable resource in curriculum procurement.

Rules to Sell Used Curriculum:

• For those of you that are familiar with the Craig’s List concept, HEC is providing a helpful location for home educators to connect, however HEC is not responsible for the quality of the products, nor the reliability of the seller.
• Curriculum sales are not for retail vendors, however you may sell new curriculum if you are an individual who purchased it new but have never used it.
• Curriculum must be in complete and usable condition. For the purchaser’s sake, your product description must be accurate.
• Curriculum is limited to books, consumable and non-consumable texts, educational audio and visual aids, hands-on supplemental aids (ie: math manipulatives, current maps, globes, microscopes, etc…) and must be free from any crass, or offensive content. Please respect this site and only submit used curriculum consistent with a Christian Worldview.
• Any violation of the above rules may result in your being blocked from using this site.

Steps to View, Purchase and Submit Used Curriculum for Sale:

To View Curriculum: 

• Click on the Subjet Category or sub-category OR  Click on the “Search” button and enter title or key words. Then click Search.
  [Type in the key words or title for your search.  Select the “all words” search type if all your search terms must be found in the ad, or “any words” if you want to see ads that may contain less than all of your key terms.]
• Click on the item in order to see more information.
• Contact the seller directly with any questions, and for payment and shipping arrangements.

To Submit an Ad: 
[In order to post items for sale, you must first create an account within our Used Curriculum system.  This is another section of our website, but utilizes a separate account from your main HEC registration.  At this time, the two systems do not share the same account information.  You are free to use the same login codes as for the main HEC site for convenience. Please Note: The Registration information that you submit to HEC: Used Curriculum remains private and confidential, however, use caution when giving out personal information to purchasers of your used curriculum!]

• Click on the Subject Category (and applicable sub-category, if necessary) that corresponds to the item you wish to post. 
• Click on the “Submit Ads” button at the top of the page in order to begin the Ad Submission process. 

IMPORTANT  NOTE: A few points regarding posting of Ads:

• Ad size is limited to 10,000 characters per ad.
• Postings will expire after 30 days.
• An image for your posting can easily be added through a browse/upload feature.
• Image size is limited to 50 kilobytes, 640X480 resolution.
• Thumbnail image will be automatically created.
